Why do I need a Financial Coach?
A Financial Coach helps their clients understand their financials & money management. A person will see a Financial Coach if they want to improve their credit, improve budget skills, learn how to pay down debt, and gain a better relationship with money. A coach cannot advise on investments or building a portfolio.

I’m on the fence about paying for a service that helps me save money; is it worth it?
The success depends on how much effort you are willing to put in. I cannot make your debt disappear, nor can I make your decisions for you, but I can guide you through these decisions and offer advice, structure, and many other tools to uncover your habits and work towards your goals. Financial Coaches are few & far between, especially those with certifications and real-life experience.
-
Why should I use you rather than a budget app or other program?
I am a Certified Personal Financial Coach, which means I have the necessary skills & training to speak on these topics. I also budget for a $450MM Publicly Traded company & have several years’ experience in the finance field. Working with a coach 1:1 provides the accountability and step-by-step assistance that an app cannot provide. I will meet with you in person and guide you to making long-lasting changes.

Why do I need to commit for 6 months?
Making a lasting change takes time. Studies show that 6 months is typically when results start to show after making a lifestyle change, which is what we’ll be working towards. I’m here to help you improve your financial life and for this to be worthwhile for both of our time, 6 months is a requirement. If after 6 months you still find you’d like to continue, monthly subscriptions will be available.

Where and how often will we meet?
To create a private, data-safe environment, I will meet my clients in an office space at The Atrium downtown Fort Wayne. We will meet at minimum two times a month during our 6-month commitment, not including our initial consultation. This will depend on the need of each client.

My spouse & I are wanting to tackle a financial goal together; can we meet with you together?
Absolutely! In fact, I encourage this. Whether you’re a college student, single, in a relationship, or recently divorced, I am accepting of all clients & backgrounds. When you sign up to meet with me, this will be a judgement-free, everything on the table experience. No issue is too big or too small for us to evaluate and work through together.
